Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General plumbing, mechanical, and/or fabrication knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to learn to use a computer terminal or PC; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, welds, and sands pipes to prepare for assembly.
• Bolts and assembles components to the plumbing system.
• Reads specs and blueprints to meet customer standards.
• Performs water and suction tests to ensure system efficiency.
• Installs valves and ensures proper attachment.
