IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA is seeking a full-time Pre-Fabrication Electrician to perform installations, alterations, and repairs in the commercial electrical shop.

You will measure, layout, hang and set mechanical equipment and read fabrication drawings to ensure accurate work. Responsibilities include maintaining the Master Inventory List, informing project teams of material statuses, and adhering to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• 4 years recent related commercial electrical experience or equivalent education.
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computers and MS Office for data entry and tracking materials.
• Experience bending pipe and running various types of conduit preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Works in Pre-Fab Shop performing installations, alterations and repairs of electrical systems and equipment.
• Measure, layout, hang and set mechanical equipment.
• Reads fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Maintains inventory levels and informs supervisors of material status.
• Communicates material order statuses to Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Travel may be required.
