Job summary

Vistar in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a warehouse order selector on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 5:00 AM start). You will pick cases from multi-level racks, load pallets, and move shipments to the dock using an electric pallet jack or forklift.

This full-time role offers Day 1 health benefits, stock purchase plan, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and paid time off, with a pay rate of $20.00–$21.25 per hour plus incentive pay; the $1.25 freezer differential is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse/distribution work experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack 10–80 pounds as required.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level racks.
• Place items on pallets and prepare shipments for loading dock.
• Operate electric pallet jack or forklift and maintain safety standards.
• Wrap, label and stage orders for shipment in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Handle paperwork and complete end-of-shift tasks.
