Job summary

The Learning Experience - World Headquarters seeks a highly organized Pre-Construction Project Coordinator to support new childcare center development projects across the United States.

You will coordinate activities from lease execution through construction handoff, partnering with Real Estate, Finance, Licensing, Operations, Construction, and Creative, as well as architects and local agencies to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Two+ years in pre-construction, commercial construction, architecture, or real estate development.
• Knowledge of permitting, zoning, entitlements, and development processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support development projects from lease execution through construction handoff.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings and establish milestones.
• Maintain project schedules and monitor timelines in pre-construction.
• Identify schedule risks and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Track project status and reporting using Monday.com.
• Maintain project documentation across internal systems.
