Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Branch Pre-Construction Manager to lead estimating, directing a team of estimators on $30M–$50M in annual sales, delivering accurate and profitable bids.

You will own bid strategy, ensure alignment with sales and operations, implement standardized processes, mentor staff, and drive win rates while protecting margins. This role requires US work authorization with hybrid work from a US-based office.

Responsibilities

• Direct Estimating: Self-perform all estimating functions for select high-value opportunities.
• Engage with Engineers, Specifiers, and Owners throughout the process.
• Perform field takeoffs and quantity verification.
• Build cost models and participate in client discussions to close business.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of estimators in the branch.
• Establish standardized estimating practices, tools, and processes.
• Oversee bid activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
• Align estimating with sales, operations, and financial targets.
