Job summary

GMCA, Inc. is seeking a Pre-construction Estimator to support managers in procurement, estimating, and bid development. The role involves preparing scopes of work, vetting subcontractors, and assisting in marketing and client relations to foster new business opportunities.

The position requires coordination of bid packages, accurate takeoffs, and ensuring completeness of proposals for review by the construction team.

Qualifications

• Assist Pre-construction Managers with pre-construction and estimating information procurement.
• Assist in preconstruction training, work product, scheduling and performance.
• Assist in the creation of clear scopes of work for each subcontractor bid incorporated into GMCA, Inc. proposals.
• Assist in procurement, pre-qualification and vetting of new subcontractor and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement of information and estimating processes.
• Participate in the creation and execution of strategies for new business development, marketing, and procurement of new client relationships.
• Prepare and present bid proposals and presentations to clients.
• Coordinate bid proposals and ensure all required forms are filled out and submitted with each proposal.
• Review proposals for completeness and accuracy.
