GMCA, Inc. is seeking a Pre-construction Estimator - Manager to supervise and support the estimating team, develop winning bids, and grow client relationships. This role involves analyzing data, coordinating with managers, and leading procurement for project documents, proposals, and presentations.

The position requires attention to detail, travel to visit clients, and collaboration across departments to drive successful preconstruction outcomes.

Mansioni

• Assist Pre-construction Managers with information procurement, process setup, engagement and related tasks.
• Assist in preconstruction training, work product, scheduling and performance.
• Participate in creating and executing strategies for new business development, marketing and client relationships.
• Establish new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
• Manage and assist with procurement of documents, plans and specifications and assemble proposals, bids and presentations.
• Contribute to preconstruction strategies and formulation of proposals and presentations.
• Help create clear scopes of work for subcontractor bids in GMCA proposals.
• Assist in procurement, pre-qualification and vetting of subcontractor/vendor relationships.
• Maintain GMCA subcontractor database.
• Assist in competitive bidding, budgeting, forecasting, and client negotiations with the head of Preconstruction.
• Analyze potential project risk factors on a case-by-case basis.
• Create quantity takeoffs and quotations to maintain bidding discipline.
• Learn and use the company estimating software, forms and procedures for full estimates.
• Maintain estimating records for each proposal type and category; assist hand-off to Construction.
• Provide support to Estimating Department for marketing materials.
• Assist in canvassing market for new construction and renovation projects.
• Contact owners, architects, engineers to find leads for new projects.
• Create and send marketing material to potential new clients and follow up.
• Coordinate bid proposals and ensure all forms are filled and submitted.
• Act as liaison for bid bonds, bonds and insurance requests for projects.
• Collaborate with Estimators on project and bid proposals.
• Document control of drawings, specifications and amendments during bids.
• Review all proposals for completeness.
