Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Project Manager in Las Vegas, NV, to lead pre-construction activities for renewable energy and infrastructure projects. You will work with developers, utilities, and stakeholders to advance site feasibility, interconnection, permitting, and early cost modeling.

The role requires 5+ years of energy/infra project experience, strong organizational skills, and willingness to travel to project sites and meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing complex energy, infrastructure, or power projects.
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy or power generation projects such as solar, storage, or wind.
• Understanding of pre-construction lifecycle: feasibility, interconnection, permitting, design, estimating, scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning for renewable energy and related infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with utilities, owners, developers, EPCs and other stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate early-stage project strategies and cost/schedule estimates.
