THE OPPORTUNITY: Pre-Construction Manager

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial projects. You must have a desire for a career in estimating, buy-out, procurement, detailed submittal documentation, and managing others.

Job Requirements:

• Supervised craft in a self-perform environment
• 5 years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in plumbing and advanced plumbing systems
• Past project size should exceed $5 million
• Experience in monitoring production and controlling costs
• Familiarity with management controls (schedules, cost control, procurement, quality, safety)
• Previous experience as a crafts person in mechanical trades; professional licensing is a plus

Desired Requirements:

• Experience managing others
• 10-15 years in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with mechanical process piping and advanced plumbing systems
• Self-motivated with good communication and people skills
• Stable work history
• Experience in estimating in a hard bid market
• Ability to develop accurate estimates from schematic design documents
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Willing to work all hours and schedules assigned

This role is remote, but you must live in the Midwest, be willing to travel 75%, and have HVAC, MEP construction experience.
