THE OPPORTUNITY: Pre-Construction Manager

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial projects. You should have a desire for a career in estimating, buy-out, procurement, detailed submittal documentation, and managing others.

Job Requirements:

• Supervised craft in a self-perform environment
• 5+ years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction, with a background in plumbing and advanced plumbing systems
• Past project size exceeding $5 million
• Experience in monitoring production and controlling costs
• Familiarity with management controls such as schedules, cost control, procurement, and quality/safety during project execution
• Experience as a crafts person in mechanical trades; professional licensing is a plus

Desired Requirements:

• Experience managing teams
• 10-15 years in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction, with expertise in mechanical process piping and advanced plumbing systems
• Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Stable work history
• Experience in estimating in a hard bid market and developing estimates from schematic designs
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Willingness to work all hours and schedules as required

This role is remote, but you must reside in the Midwest, be willing to travel 75%, and have HVAC and MEP construction experience.
