Job summary

The incumbent will consult with faculty, review proposals for policy alignment, and serve as a Decentralized Limited Signatory Authority on behalf of Sponsored Projects Administration and the VP for Research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent communication/people skills; strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong knowledge of OMB Circulars and CASB justifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty with preparing and submitting grant proposals, including budget development and biosketches.
• Review proposals for accuracy and compliance with university, state, and federal rules.
• Advise PIs on proposal requirements and compliance with guidelines.
• Work independently to decide content and format of proposals and communicate with PIs.
• Serve as Decentralized Limited Signatory Authority for Sponsored Projects Administration.
