Job summary

PreBorn! in Indianapolis is seeking a Prayer Shield Coordinator to lead the Prayer House, coordinate intercessors, and translate vision into daily ministry rhythms. The role requires deep prayer commitment, organizational skill, and strong leadership to support leaders, staff, clinics, donors, and partners.

You will oversee prayer coverage for priorities, supervise intercessors, and ensure confidentiality while fostering a culture of humility, unity, and faithfulness within a growing ministry.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in prayer ministry, church ministry, nonprofit ministry, or related environment.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating people or ministry teams.
• Strong understanding of biblical prayer, intercession, servant leadership, and spiritual maturity.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations and ministry rhythms of the Prayer House.
• Translate the Director’s strategic vision into practical schedules and operating plans.
• Ensure prayer coverage is maintained during Prayer House hours.
• Coordinate onsite and remote intercessor schedules and gaps in coverage.
• Facilitate prayer meetings, intercessory sessions, and special prayer gatherings.
• Provide leadership and spiritual support to Prayer House staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discernment in all prayer-related matters.
• Develop a strong team culture centered on humility, unity, prayer, and PreBorn!’s Core Values.
