Job summary

WestGate Church in Silicon Valley seeks a mature Prayer + Care Director to cultivate a culture of prayer and care across campuses. You will oversee spiritual direction, counseling, and care programs, and lead serve teams with excellence.

This full-time role requires relational leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication, with a passion for forming communities where people belong and grow in their faith. You'll manage budgets, partner with pastors, and maintain high confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ministry experience.
• Strong confidentiality, discretion, and tact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spiritual direction and counseling services.
• Recruit, train, and care for prayer and care serve teams.
• Collaborate with Executive Pastor of Formation to run church-wide prayer culture.
• Connect congregants with counseling resources and referrals.
• Ensure consistent support systems across campuses.
• Oversee weddings/funerals and visitations.
• Budget creation and management for prayer and care.
• Partner with pastors and leaders to care for the whole church.
