Prada Group is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator in New York to support the Manager of Men's Leather Goods & Accessories with daily merchandising activities, including shop-to-shop transfers, consolidations, inventory replenishments, and assortment planning for events.

You will analyze weekly sales performance, generate qualitative insights from quantitative analysis, and build reports and presentations for leadership reviews. The role focuses on the US market with cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an analytical or merchandising coordinator role
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP for inventory management preferred

Responsabilités

• Analyze sales performance by product category, material, function, and store to prepare weekly reports
• Build charts and PowerPoint presentations to summarize sales performance for weekly review
• Coordinate product transfers between stores or markets based on stock monitoring and manager guidance
• Handle restocking of products for US market shops
• Monitor shop performance in the USA market to ensure correct product mix
• Assist in preparing orders for US, Canadian, and Latin American markets including unit entry and sizing scale
• Develop analyses for Merchandising Manager focusing on weekly priorities
• Maintain regular communications with stores regarding transfers, price changes, and deliveries

Job Summary

Support the Manager of Men's Leather Goods & Accessories in daily merchandising activities, such as shop-to-shop product transfers, consolidations, inventory replenishments, and assortment planning for commercial events.

Assists the Manager in analyzing the Men's Leather Goods and Accessories business, with a focus on weekly sales performance, trends, and generating qualitative insights based on quantitative assessments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance by product category / material / function / store to prepare necessary reports on a weekly basis
• Build charts and PowerPoint presentations to summarize sales performance analysis at weekly business review meeting
• Make transfers of products between stores or markets, based on the monitoring of stock in the stores and the indications provided by the Merchandising Manager or requests from stores
• Handle restocking of products for the shops in US market
• Monitor the performance of sales in the shops in USA market to ensure the correct mix of products in the shop
• Provide support to the Retail Merchandising team in the preparation of orders for the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets, including unit entry, sizing scale, and by-store allocation
• Develop analyses required by the Merchandising Manager for specific focus areas week to week
• Maintain regular communications with stores in regards to product transfers, seasonal price changes, style cancellations, deliveries, etc.

Knowledge And Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly as it relates to managing and updating large datasets in Excel
• 1+ years of experience in an analytical or merchandising coordinator role
• Experience with SAP for inventory management preferred

Compensation

This position will pay an annualized salary of $70,000-$80,000 and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
