Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking a Practicum Education Coordinator on the Lawrence campus or remotely. This role supports practicum planning, partner development, onboarding, placement operations, data management, and programming across the School of Social Welfare.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in higher education experiential learning and technology, with strong communication and data skills. Hybrid or remote work is possible, with state employment considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or minimum of three years’ experience in higher education experiential learning and technology.
• Experience managing databases, information systems, or complex recordkeeping.
• Experience in customer service or student support.
• Effective written and communication skills, as evidenced by application materials.

Responsibilities

• Research and initiate relationships with prospective practicum partners.
• Coordinate practicum site recruitment, onboarding, retention, and engagement.
• Manage affiliation agreement development, routing, renewal, and records.
• Maintain community partner records and practicum instructor data.
• Enter practicum opportunities into the planning software.
• Coordinate routine practicum partner communications and recognition activities.
• Support planning and placement coordination with Associate Directors.
• Serve as primary administrator for practicum management software and related systems.
• Maintain student, agency, practicum instructor, liaison, and placement records.
• Develop forms, workflows, reports, and data management processes.
• Provide technical support to students, agencies, practicum instructors, and staff.
• Maintain Canvas, Qualtrics, website, and other technology resources.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements (medical records, background screens, etc.).
• Manage seminars, orientation, and CEU event logistics, communications, registration, and evaluations.
• Assist with assessment, accreditation, and reporting activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
