Job summary

The University of Kansas seeks a Practicum Education Coordinator to support the Social Welfare Practicum Office on the Lawrence campus or remotely. The role coordinates operations, develops community partnerships, and oversees data management, onboarding, and placement activities for MSW and BSW students and practicum instructors.

They will be the primary operational contact, collaborating with Associate Directors and School staff, with travel as needed and flexibility in work assignments to fit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or [minimum of] three years' experience in [higher education] experiential learning and technology.
• Experience managing databases, information systems, or complex recordkeeping processes.
• Experience in customer service or student support.
• Effective written and communication skills, as evidenced by application materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead practicum operations and community partnership development, including recruitment, onboarding, and records management.
• Manage technology systems, data management, and process improvement for the practicum office.
• Support student onboarding, seminars, orientation, and CEU event logistics and evaluations.
• Contribute to accreditation, reporting activities, and broader practicum office duties.
