RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Barnabas Health Medical Group. The role leads front-office staff, ensures efficient patient flow, and collaborates with the Practice Administrator and regional leadership to deliver high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in a primary care or specialty setting, and strong knowledge of front-end operations, billing, and EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with patient registration, billing, and front-end staffing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Practice Administrator and/or Regional Manager/Director in overseeing daily operations of the assigned practice site.
• Serve as practice lead for staff, patient, and internal stakeholder matters and escalate to resolution as appropriate.
• Ensure front office efficiency, monitor patient flow, and provide excellent patient care service.
• Assist senior management, providers, and internal Medical Group departments to standardize best practices and processes.
• Occasional travel may be required to other sites for coverage as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview

The Practice Supervisor assists in overseeing the daily operations of the assigned practice site. The Practice Supervisor serves as a lead in the practice for staff and patient matters. The Practice Supervisor ensures that policies and procedures are implemented promptly and efficiently. The Practice Supervisor works collaboratively with the Practice Administrator and other internal stakeholders to ensure the practice meets overall performance and satisfaction expectations in order to achieve an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in a primary care or specialty setting, required
• Knowledge and experience in patient registration, billing, management of front-end staffing settings
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with EHR Systems and software applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred

• Minimum of two years of experience as a supervisor, preferred
