Position Summary

We are seeking a Practice Patient Care Assistant (FGP) to join our team. This role involves administrative and clinical responsibilities to support efficient practice workflows, including reception, patient escorting, clinical tasks within NYS scope, and supporting patient engagement and safety initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Patient Interaction: Greet patients, manage check-in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support patient flow.
2. Clinical Tasks: Take vital signs, assist with specimen collection, prepare exam rooms, and support provider procedures.
3. Administrative Duties: Gather patient data, verify insurance, manage records, and facilitate communication via EPIC and MyChart.
4. Patient Experience: Promote positive interactions, support service standards, and assist with patient education and access initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of recent experience as a Patient Care or Medical Assistant. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification and proficiency in venipuncture and phlebotomy are preferred.
