Job summary

Omnes Healthcare is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our GP practice in Greenwich, offering full-time or part-time roles with competitive salary dependent on experience.

You will deliver assessment, screening, and treatment services, support pathology processes, and work with a diverse team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to patients registered with Omnes Healthcare practices.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
• Proven experience as a Practice Nurse in primary care.
• Experience in managing QOF or long-term condition care desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, screening, and treatment services to patients.
• Advise patients on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to GPs when appropriate.
• Collect, store, and dispatch pathological specimens in line with practice protocols.
• Support administrative and professional responsibilities, including QOF management and clinical audits.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care.

Role: Practice Nurse

As a GP Practice Nurse, you will work within a GP practice delivering assessment, screening, and treatment services. You will provide advice to patients on general health and minor ailments, referring to GPs when necessary. You will also support pathology processes, including the collection, storage, and dispatch of specimens, and assist with administrative and professional duties, ensuring smooth practice operations. You will be part of a diverse, multi-skilled team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues, delivering high-quality, person-centred, and holistic care to patients registered with Omnes Healthcare practices.
