Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our primary care team in the US region. You will assess, diagnose and manage patient care in collaboration with the general practice team, ensuring high standards and patient safety.

Ideal candidates hold NMC registration with advanced clinical practice and are pursuing non-medical prescriber status; experience in minor injuries and MSc ACP status are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification is essential.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs and support policy delivery.
• Provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

Package Description:
