Responsible for the daily activities of a medical practice and supervision of staff to include: scheduling and operational workflows, hiring, onboarding and retention of staff and providers, payroll, customer service, access to care, referral and authorization processes, compliance with relevant payor policies and guidelines, time of service collections, chart audits as appropriate and operational expenses. Responsible for 5 or more providers and 20 or less team members.
Uses information from patient satisfaction surveys and other tools to improve patient perception of care. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to care, access, and service. Ensures patient scheduling and wait times meet RMG metrics. Creates a safe work environment and reports safety events.
Responsible for revenue capture, reconciliation and other financial aspects of the practice such as staffing levels/training, payroll, cash/account management. Responsible for ensuring compliance with payor specific to billing and coverage. Collaborates with providers and practice director on office operations and management including human and material resources.
Ensures quality of service and access by following health system and RMG operational plans. Uses available dashboards and data to effectively identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement.
Effectively communicates, develops and reviews key data and reports to ensure staff and management have appropriate actionable information. Ensures transparency of data with providers to determine themes and trends. Participates in root cause and performance improvement.
Assists with the recruitment, orientation and retention of new providers to the practice.
Is an effective listener and applies critical thinking to problem solving.
