Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in Central Iowa is seeking a Practice Manager for Plastic Surgery/Oculoplastic/Dermatology to lead the daily operations across multiple clinics (Grimes, Ankeny, West Des Moines, N. Waukee).

You will collaborate with physicians and administrative leaders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care, oversee staffing, and drive strategic initiatives while upholding compliance and patient-centered values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health care related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years previous supervisory experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates and directs overall operational activities of assigned department(s) including multiple site locations (Grimes, Ankeny, West Des Moines, N. Waukee). Works closely with the physicians and administrative directors in assuming accountability for maintaining high-quality cost-effective services.
• Hires, orients, supervises, evaluates performance, disciplines and terminates staff.
• Maintains awareness of applicable laws and regulations affecting the clinic and assures compliance.
• Participates in strategic and long-range planning.
• Promotes a positive, professional image of the organization internally and externally.
