The Practice Manager oversees the daily operations of the Primary Care Office, collaborating with the Administrative Director, Northern Regional Director, physicians, and leadership to organize and direct all operational components of the practice.

This is a fast-paced Endo and Family Medicine practice, overseeing 20 staff members (including providers) and 4-6 doctors.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the Primary Care Practice.
  • Supervise all staff, including managing attendance, coaching, evaluations, and discipline in collaboration with the director.
  • Assist with recruitment and supervision of certified medical assistants (CMAs), ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards.
  • Oversee the revenue cycle, work queue management, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction through surveys and feedback, working with staff and physicians to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • Administer daily functions necessary for business operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Lead and develop staff meeting agendas to meet departmental goals efficiently.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to achieve positive patient satisfaction scores.
  • Develop and enforce staff work assignments and schedules.
  • Review and revise departmental policies to safeguard patient care and promote efficiency.
  • Identify the needs of the patient population and modify care delivery accordingly, communicating effectively at their level.
  • Physical requirements include lifting a minimum of 10 lbs., pushing/pulling 50 lbs., and standing for at least 4 hours daily.
  • Adhere to organizational and managerial competencies standards.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in a professional practice setting.
  • Strong teamwork, decision-making, communication, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.

Preferred:

  • Management experience.
