North Atlanta Cardiology is seeking an experienced and highly organized Practice Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our growing cardiology practice. Prior cardiology practice management experience is required.
Practice Manager – Cardiology Practice
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintain efficient patient flow.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate administrative and clinical-support staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure appropriate office coverage.
- Manage patient scheduling, customer service, and complaint resolution.
- Oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, prior authorizations, and revenue-cycle performance.
- Monitor expenses, vendors, purchasing, and operational budgets.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, payer requirements, and practice policies.
- Oversee credentialing, medical records, information systems, facilities, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinate cardiology testing and procedures based on physician orders and medical necessity.
- Strengthen relationships with referring physicians and community healthcare organizations.
- Develop ethical marketing and outreach initiatives focused on increasing patient volume and expanding the referral network.
- Provide operational and financial performance reports to the physician owners.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and responsible practice growth.
Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience in a cardiology practice is required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiology operations, terminology, testing workflows, billing, insurance, and prior authorizations.
- Experience managing employees, practice finances, compliance, and revenue-cycle activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and practice-management systems.
- Commitment to patient service, confidentiality, and ethical business practices.
