Position: Practice Manager - Behavioral Health

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our Behavioral Health team. The role involves working three days per week at our Stamford BH site and two days at our Bridgeport BH site.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of office operations, including authorization, registration, billing, and data collection.
2. Cross-train in clerical and support functions, including registrar and administrative assistant roles, providing backup support as needed.
3. Perform special tasks as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: Prior experience in behavioral health office management within a healthcare setting. Proficiency in typing and computer skills, with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with telemedicine is a plus.
• Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and understanding of customer service principles.
• Familiarity with DMHAS and DBBHC services, neighborhoods, and community resources.
