Job Summary
Provides overall administrative direction and coordination for policies, procedures, and programs. Manages the day-to-day delivery of patient-centered, cost-effective health care services of a medical clinic at one or more clinic locations.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree with three years of healthcare or business management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions
- Provides administrative direction and coordination in the formulation, interpretation, and administration of policies, procedures, and programs.
- Plans, coordinates, and is accountable for all clinical activities, including fiscal requirements and budgetary recommendations; monitors, verifies, and reconciles expenditures; reviews financial statements and analyzes variances.
- Prepares and monitors budgets, oversees equipment and supplies purchases, and maintains the clinic.
- Delivers cost-effective health care services by managing daily operations and procedures.
- Establishes work schedules, task assignments, resource allocation, space, and equipment to ensure effective patient care and service conformance.
- Builds and maintains strong team leadership and collaboration with key partners to achieve financial and operational success, including marketing and business development.
- Satisfies treatment and service requirements by following clinical guidelines, facilitating collaboration, and measuring patient satisfaction.
- Handles patient complaints or problems regarding charges, care, and customer service.
- Coordinates human resources functions including hiring, supervision, training, performance appraisals, and staff development.
- Prepares operational and financial reports, analyzing progress and trends.
- Helps meet productivity objectives by encouraging providers to meet or exceed patient quotas.
- Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, Coding) and quality initiatives.
- Acts as liaison with administration, providers, and outside organizations to coordinate practice activities and resolve issues.
- Addresses building maintenance, safety plans, and related records.
- Ensures employees and resources adhere to company values, policies, and ethics.
- Performs other related duties as needed.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Proficiency with computer systems, applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), practice management systems, and electronic health records
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Highly self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team
