At Gentle Dental, our Practice Managers are committed to and passionate about their practice. As the leader of the team, they ensure that their office runs smoothly from open to close. In partnership with a Director of Operations and an Area Clinical Director, the purpose of the Practice Manager is to ensure that our dental practices provide legendary customer service through engaged employees and overall office efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain an office environment that ensures optimal patient care and customer service.
2. Oversee and supervise front and back office staff.
3. Evaluate and review office production and procedures to develop new ways to improve efficiency, patient retention, and profitability.
4. Analyze and organize office operations and procedures, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, cash control, payroll preparation, and other administrative duties.
5. Develop and implement office budgets and manage procurement of supplies and equipment.
6. Recruit, retain, and terminate staff; work with HR to assess and resolve employee issues.
7. Process dental insurance claims, work with HMO and PPO plans, and present dental treatment plans to patients.
8. Maintain advanced knowledge of software systems for data management and managerial reporting.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant dental laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Pay Range:

$60,000 - $65,000+ per year, DOE

Qualifications:

• Leadership experience of 3+ years
• Previous dental or healthcare management experience preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy; Denticon experience is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
