Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Practice Management Analyst in Toms River, NJ to build and optimize outpatient clinician templates and manage process improvement in scheduling and registration. The role acts as a liaison across PAS, insurance verification, credentialing and call center vendors to enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities include audits, education standardization for scheduling, and reporting operational statistics.

Qualifications

Associates degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience with electronic medical records preferred; proficiency with internet-based technologies including Microsoft Office, data entry, and navigation of multiple applications.
Sensitive to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities

Build, manage and optimize outpatient clinician templates according to leadership specifications.
Run regular audits and reports to ensure outpatient PAS department compliance with scheduling guidelines.
Manage assigned process improvement projects within outpatient scheduling and registration to streamline processes.
Develop and implement standardized education for outpatient scheduling and registration; report and analyze operational statistics as needed.
Manage centralized call-out line to alert local teams and families of last-minute provider absences.
Serve as liaison between outpatient PAS, Insurance Verification, Credentialing, Strategic Improvement and call center vendor.
Support customer service and promote positive patient experience by addressing scheduling concerns of patients and families.
Utilize HRO principles (AIDET, Five Tones, etc.) to provide excellence in customer service.
Think creatively and proactively while adhering to guidelines, policy and procedures.
Participate in meetings and huddles with offsite vendor and onsite teams; problem-solve proactively.

Pay Range: $67,700.00 - $84,800.00 per year

As a Practice Management Analyst, a typical day might include:
