Director of Accounting

Director of Accounting

I am with an accounting search firm, and I am working with a company in the area looking to hire a Director of Accounting (head of the company). They are a stable company with a positive culture, there's flexibility to define the role and make it your own, and in addition this role can be completely remote!

Salary: $150K - $170K

Key Responsibilities

• Review and prepare client financial statements (full or partial financial ownership)
• Analyze financials to identify insights and ensure compliance
• Serve as a trusted advisor, discussing government contracting issues directly with clients
• Train and mentor accounting staff, growing the team’s technical and consulting skills
• Multitask across diverse projects in a dynamic, billable hours (T&M) environment
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of GovCon accounting experience (Required)
• Unanet software experience (Highly preferred – major plus!)
• Proven management and leadership experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
