- Work closely with the global litigation practice marketing team and certain industry group teams
- Support a broad range of business development and marketing activities
- Manage specific litigation practice areas directly
- Assist with firm programs and events, including teleconferences, webinars, seminars, marketing materials, and on-site logistics
- Create ads and collateral materials with the creative services team for charitable events and sponsorships
- Compile information for Chambers USA, Legal 500, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and other directory and ranking authorities
- Compile proposal and RFP information using practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists
- Distribute marketing materials, newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, client alerts, updates, and other client communications
- Ensure information flows from attorneys to the marketing team, including biographies, practice descriptions, experience tracking, news, activities data, and press releases
- Input and accurately store information in relevant databases
- Submit requests to marketing intelligence for proposals and other projects
- Support shareholder practice meetings, cross-marketing meetings, and other office priorities
- Provide excellent service to internal and external clients
- Collaborate with marketing and business professionals across the firm
- Complete other assigned projects
- Report to the Senior Practice Development Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s or JD preferred
- Minimum 10-15 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferred
- Self-starter and team player, able to accept direction yet work independently
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong client-first work ethic
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience using firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support professional and managerial work, applying judgment to validate outputs and maintain accountability for final deliverables
- Ability to model and promote responsible AI use, including privacy, confidentiality, appropriate human oversight, and adoption of emerging AI technologies
