Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Practice Administration, the Practice Coordinator coordinates day-to-day clinic operations at assigned clinic/practice location. This role will ensure effective and efficient scheduling, front desk services, and overall flow of assigned clinic/location.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Managing schedules for Providers and Patient Service Representatives at a designated site.
  • Monitoring cash boxes and clinic collections.
  • Providing support for the electronic medical record (eClinicalworks) for clinic staff on site.
  • Working with management and administration to address issues promptly.
  • Working with the Senior Director of Practice Administration to achieve targets for patient volume encounters.
  • Effectively organizing and/or prioritizing work to assist with efficient patient flow in the clinic.
  • Working with Senior Director of Practice Administration in conducting and verifying audits.
  • Coordinating, supervising and managing support staff functions at assigned clinic location under the direction of the Senior Director of Practice Administration.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Floating to other clinics as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical office practice.
  • Proficiency of electronic medical records.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
  • Process management ability to effectively coordinate the efforts of professional and support staff.

  • Hold current drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
  • Travel to all parts of the facility and throughout the community.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
  • Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) at assigned locations.
