Overview
As a Practice Builder, you will lead and grow the Aviation team, building and managing relationships with key clients while developing the practice into a profitable line of business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand an Aviation team and practice while building and managing relationships with key clients.
- Review design documents & drawings for airside and landside Aviation projects, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans.
- Prepare analysis reports in support of airport planning, design, and construction.
- Operate with integrity and sound business principles.
- Provide vision, business planning and strategy.
- Establish goals.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Communicate openly with partners and team.
- Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor.
- Enjoy autonomy to lead, direct, and grow your business.
- Earn a significant bonus program and potential ownership.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing airport design and construction projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Business development and marketing experience writing proposals, scopes, and budgets.
- Effective communication at all levels.
- Ability to manage & mentor staff and direct resources positively.
- Proven ability to manage land development projects profitably.
Base Salary Range
- $150,000 - $260,000
- Eligible for performance‑based bonus compensation.
