Job summary

UPMC Southwestern PA is seeking a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery Physician to join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. This position requires fellowship training in Female/Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, with advanced surgical skills preferred. You will provide comprehensive care including performing various urogynecology procedures and mentoring residents.

Qualifications

Job description

UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is seeking a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery Physician to join our group of 10 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. Fellowship trained, board certified/eligible in Female/Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery is required. Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills are preferred. Keen knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical options for female urinary incontinence is required

Job Description

• Our group provides outstanding evidence-based in office and surgical care.
• Assess and treat a wide range of urogynecology conditions that includes office‑based procedures, vaginal surgery and minimally invasive surgical care.
• UPMC Urogynecology has an outreach program to 15 community sites and operates in 6 facilities to assure patients have access to our expertise.
• Our program has a robust fellowship program. Candidates will be expected to mentor and teach residents and fellows that routinely rotate through our service.
• Call schedule is primarily related to back‑up for fellows and consists of about 4‑5 weekends per year and about 1‑2 weekdays per month.
• There are extensive opportunities for research in all areas of Urogynecology.
