Job summary

UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital invites a fellowship-trained Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgeon to join a team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs. Board eligibility/certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery is required. Strong robotic and laparoscopic skills are preferred.

The role includes teaching residents and fellows and participating in a robust research program. The position offers an academic appointment, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and a competitive

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery required.
• Board certified or eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat urogynecology conditions including office procedures and vaginal surgery.
• Perform minimally invasive and robotic procedures as appropriate.
• Mentor and teach residents and fellows rotating through the service.
• Provide back-up call coverage with a weekend and monthly weekday cadence.
• Contribute to research in urogynecology and related areas.
