Job summary

Universal Health Services Palmdale Regional Medical Group is opening a new Family Medicine clinic and seeks a Full-Time Practice Administrator to manage daily operations and supervision in accordance with standards and regulations.

The role includes leadership across planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating practice functions, maintaining licenses, credentialing, collaborating with stakeholders, managing expenses and revenue, and participating in budgeting, recruitment, and onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Minimum Five (5) years healthcare supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, EMR systems Medical and billing terminology and revenue cycle operations
• Knowledge of healthcare or hospital office settings
• Service excellence, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating practice functions in relation to IPM and UHS vision, mission, goals, values and policies and procedures.
• Maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, vendors, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations.
• Primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum.
• Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and always maintain appropriate confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must attend mandatory meetings.

Job Summary

Experience/Training/Experience:

Certifications/Licenses

• Current CA Drivers License.
