Job summary

FVI School of Nursing and Technology is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor at the Miami Campus to deliver PN didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction aligned with program outcomes and safe nursing practice standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, an active Florida RN license, a minimum of three years of nursing experience, and be fluent in Spanish and English. Teaching experience is preferred but not required, with a commitment to student success and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution.
• Active, unencumbered RN Florida State license.
• Minimum three years clinical experience as an RN.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PN curriculum content using approved teaching methodologies
• Supervise students in Clinicals and laboratory settings
• Evaluate student performance using standardized assessment tools
• Participating in student remediation and retention initiatives
• Maintain clinical competence and instructional effectiveness
