Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nurse Instructor to join our nursing program in Boise, Idaho. You will collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams, maintain attendance and grades, and support program assessment and orientation for new faculty.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN and at least 3 years of bedside RN experience, and is committed to advancing clinical teaching, record-keeping, meetings, and student advising while ensuring health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; minimum 3 years bedside RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams.
• Maintain attendance records and submit grades.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
• Utilize adult learning principles in teaching.
• Ensure quality of instruction and update course content.
• Support online activities to enhance course materials.
• Maintain student records and program data collection.
• Submit program reports to program director in a timely manner.
• Keep up to date with technologies and safety regulations.
• Participate in nursing program committee activities.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical outcomes.
• Provide feedback on clinical performance after observations.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Observe and instruct to meet safety requirements.
