Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor for the Floyd County Campus, with duties extending to other campuses as needed. The role requires on-campus presence, no telework, and reports to the Practical Nursing Program Administrator.

This part-time position offers compensation between $33.66 ASN and $38.76 BSN+, and requires current Georgia RN licensure, BLS, excellent communication and technology skills, and commitment to nursing education outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Be in good standing from the initial date of employment as a registered professional nurse.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and excellent technology skills.
• Have the expertise and professional development necessary to enable the goals/outcomes of the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with faculty to meet the needs of the students.
• Provides a variety of learning experiences consistent with the program mission, philosophy and nursing education outcomes.
• Implements, operates, and participates in clinical activities to guarantee a high quality, safe, and consistent clinical experience.
• Proficiency in MS software applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Internet and database applications.
• Actively participates in departmental committees
• Demonstrates effective working relationships with individuals and groups
• Actively participate in professional development
• Other duties assigned
