Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks Nuclear Engineering interns for our NSG division based in Kennesaw, GA (also opportunities in Fort Worth, TX).

You will work with senior engineers on nuclear risk and reliability analysis, learning codes and standards and applying classroom knowledge to real projects. Ideal candidates are ABET- accredited majors (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical) graduating Dec 2027 to Jun 2028, with strong writing, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET-accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply codes and standards for designing projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
