Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Design Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering intern to contribute to design and optimization of nuclear systems at our Overland Park, KS site. You will engage in modeling, analysis, and collaboration within NSG to support plant modifications and safety-focused projects.

The role targets ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028, ready to start in our dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed internship start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and optimizing critical systems for nuclear power projects.
• Support engineering analyses, documentation, and project duties in NSG.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
