Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. in Kennesaw, GA invites engineering interns to join the Nuclear Design Group on control systems design, development, and field walkdowns.

This internship focuses on safety-critical energy projects, requiring strong CAD/office skills and teamwork across disciplines. Preferred majors are Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; graduates or soon-to-be graduates from ABET-accredited programs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET-accredited school in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Available to start between May 2027 and June 2027.
  • Preferred Courses: Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, and Control Systems.
  • A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
  • Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
  • Must be able to work outside.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
