University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point seeks a Public Relations & Media Intern for the Multicultural Resource Center and OCSD. You’ll assist with leadership programs, event planning, podcast production, and storytelling, gaining hands-on experience in digital media and outreach within a university setting.

You will help edit materials, support the MRC magazine, and contribute to promotional content while fostering an inclusive campus culture.

Qualifications

• Be an enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
• Maintain good academic standing with the university and a 2.5+ GPA.
• Commit to ~10 hours per week during the semester and adhere to schedule.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for promotional materials.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork in a student-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing leadership programs and events.
• Support media projects including podcast and magazine content production.
• Help create promotional materials and maintain digital media archives.
• Document program outcomes and participate in outreach and campus partnerships.
• Contribute to overall operations and tabling activities for the center.
