Apple, Inc. is seeking a PR Manager to join our corporate communications team, focused on AI public policy, legal issues, and regulatory matters. Working with PR, legal, and government affairs teams in the U.S.

and internationally, you'll support strategies that educate audiences about Apple's approach to AI and data privacy. You will lead real-time tracking of AI policy across jurisdictions, help draft proactive and reactive PR materials, and contribute to events from concept to execution.

Description

Apple is seeking a PR Manager to join our corporate communications team, focused on AI public policy, legal issues, and other regulatory matters. Working with PR, legal, and government affairs teams in the U.S. and internationally, this individual will support strategies that educate key audiences in areas including Apple's distinct approach to AI, public policies impacting user privacy and security, and more. This person will lead real-time tracking of AI policy across global jurisdictions, help draft content including proactive and reactive PR materials, and contribute to Apple's regulatory PR functions, including events, from concept to execution. This role will also provide project management and operational support to PR leadership as needed. The successful candidate will have superior organizational and collaborative capabilities, the ability to craft compelling messaging and media stories, and strong media relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor media and draft coverage reports and analysis on updates in AI policy, privacy and security regulation, and other relevant policy issue areas
• Closely track and report to internal teams on the regulatory landscape for the U.S. and jurisdictions globally on various regulatory topics as policy landscapes evolve
• Develop and update media lists and conduct press outreach around AI policy, legal issues, and additional regulatory matters
• Work cross-functionally to help drive PR plans around policy and regulatory issues
• Draft proactive and reactive PR materials
• Support regulatory PR functions, including events
• Provide project management and operational support to PR leadership as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in communications
• A background in policy communications and/or public affairs
• Superior organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Natural self-starter who demonstrates critical analysis skills and discretion
• Track record of creative thinking and developing new approaches to communications efforts
• Experience building consensus and driving collaboration, and demonstrated ability to effectively project manage across cross-functional teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and adapt quickly to change
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with media
• Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team’s work

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
