Job summary

Base44, a Wix company, seeks a PR & Communications Lead to own our external narrative across press, the market, and the community of builders we serve. This role emphasizes classic PR—media relations, launches, messaging, and competitive positioning—with writing that explains how Base44 opens software creation to more people.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in communications/PR, in tech, SaaS, AI, or developer tools.
• Existing relationships with tech and AI journalists.
• Sharp, clear writer.
• Comfortable working with sales, marketing, and senior leadership.
• Hands-on use of AI tools is a plus.
• A builder at heart: curious, takes initiative, tries new tools.

Responsibilities

• PR strategy including media relations, launches, messaging, and competitive positioning.
• Written content: press releases, blog posts, briefing docs, newsletters, thought leadership.
• Base44's voice and presence on LinkedIn and social.
• Customer stories, business momentum, and events turned into content with sales and marketing.
• Relationships with tech, AI, and startup journalists.
• Visibility and content for company leadership.
• Balancing ongoing planning with same-day turnaround when needed.
