Job summary

Small Girls PR on the West Coast is seeking an Associate Account Executive to support consumer lifestyle brands across food & beverage, tech, fitness, and lifestyle spaces. As an AAE, you will help with media relations, pitching, and campaign ideas, while keeping client streams organized and contributing to strategic insights.

Hybrid work in LA with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, creative agency environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of post-grad experience within the media relations, corporate communications, or public relations space.
• Note: this is not an entry level role for 2026 graduates.
• You have secured top-tier press placements and have clips to prove it.

Responsibilities

• Draft creative pitch angles that position clients uniquely from their competitor set.
• Establish and maintain warm relationships with both business and consumer media.
• Brainstorm original campaign concepts and stunt ideas to drive messaging for our brands.
• Keep the team organized by gatekeeping monthly activity reports, weekly call agendas + recap notes, and wrap reports & decks as needed.
• Monitor placements and mentions using search engines, alerts and social media.
• Share learnings at company-wide all hands.
