Job Title:

Pipe Fitter - Southport, NC

Job Summary:

Experience with layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps, and equipment in an industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
2. Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
3. Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
4. Must be experienced in taking measurements and using power tools.

Qualifications:

1. At least three years of experience as a Pipefitter in an Industrial Construction setting.
2. Committed to safety at all times.
3. Excellent attendance.
4. Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

1. Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.
2. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
3. Must have enough strength and stamina to perform the duties listed.
4. Must be able to move in confined spaces and uneven areas.
5. Must have full range of motion and be able to climb ladders.
6. Must be able to hear and respond to voice commands, alarms, and other noises.
7. Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination are required for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
8. Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
