Job Summary:

Experience with layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps, and equipment in an industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Must be experienced in working with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
• Must be experienced in taking measurements independently and using power tools.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial construction setting.
• Committed to safety at all times.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screening.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

• Ability to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign.
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Enough strength and stamina to perform technical duties and essential functions.
• Ability to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
• Full range of motion appropriate for age.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
• Ability to hear and respond to voice commands, alarms, and other job-related noises.
• Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination sufficient for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
• Safety/steel toe shoes are required.
