The Production, Planning, and Logistics (PPL) Co-op - Dock Process Improvement will support improvement initiatives within receiving, shipping, staging, and dock operations at the Cornelia site. The co-op will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work with Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Planning, Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental, Engineering, Facilities, and other cross-functional partners. The position will collect and analyze operational data, document material and information flows, identify process gaps and waste, support structured problem solving, and help implement sustainable improvements. Focus areas may include dock utilization, trailer and shipment flow, staging practices, material movement, standard work, visual management, safety, inventory accuracy, and performance reporting. The co-op will receive guidance, training, and mentoring appropriate to the assignment and will perform work in accordance with applicable safety, quality, regulatory, data-integrity, and Company requirements. The co-op should remain enrolled in an accredited academic program for the duration of the assignment, and assigned work should relate to the co-op's field of study.
