Job summary

Parkview Health in Indiana is seeking a licensed practical nurse to assist physicians with patient care across all ages, following Parkview Health System standards and the Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires CPR certification, an active state LPN license, and prior clinical experience. You will contribute to safe care, maintain documentation, and participate in patient-centered care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a school of nursing.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Must hold a state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Experience in clinical settings during training is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and assist with 100 lbs.

Job description

This position is eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Summary

Responsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act, in respective working state.

Education

Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.

Licensure/Certification

Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license. Must have current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.

Experience

Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.

Other Qualifications

Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
