Parkview Health, Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist physicians with patient care and assessment across all ages, adhering to Parkview Health System standards and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
The role requires a nursing degree, current Indiana LPN license, and CPR certification, with 2-3 years of office experience and prior clinical exposure during training. Team orientation and ongoing MAAP pathway are emphasized.
Responsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.
Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license and current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.
2-3 years of office experience is required. Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in the area of assignment.
Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
